How to make a pond in a small pot or bucket
Cool as it looks, all I can think of is how it’s essentially a mosquito breeding ground.
May be useful as a one-night decoration deal like a wedding or something, though.
Given the size of the pot here and, of course, the possibility of using a larger one, it’s probably feasible to keep one or two small fish of some hardy species in them; provided you change some of the water every few days of course. They’d gladly eat any mosquito larvae and you could just move them to an indoor aquarium when the weather starts to get cold.
I have heard that temporarily keeping fish outdoors is, in fact, very healthy for them as well, resulting in larger size and better coloration. You just need to be careful of any wild animals in your area that may try to eat them.
